ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Promote a safe, clean, organized working environment for all employees and always wear proper PPE.

Assist maintenance in repairs and preventive maintenance on all Carrier equipment as needed.

Improve the equipment OEE and ensure reliability so that all equipment can produce quality product.

Responsible for servicing all types of mechanical and electrical devices including analog and digital circuits, AC & DC Drives, and PLC’s with their associated control networks.

Working knowledge of computer systems used by Carrier in communications and information technology including MS Office, Carrier requisition system and internal email system.

Work with stores to reduce the cost of equipment part inventories and help ensure correct levels of critical spares.

Work with other team members to make this a great place to work.

Line modifications, installations, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting pertaining to PLC’s, VFD’s, networking and automated systems.

Manage the file directory for all production equipment and ensure that the maintenance team has access to the latest revisions of every file and software.

Keep a log of all production related modifications to programs and system controls for traceability.

Assist supervisor in training the maintenance team members on new equipment, new software, and any major changes made to existing equipment.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

This is not an all-inclusive job description and there will be times that the position holder will be asked to perform other important duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems, or Industrial Maintenance with 5 or more years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus in automated systems.
