    About This Role

    The Inside Sales Specialist works closely with regional sales managers and customers to convert aftermarket sales opportunities into sustainable revenue streams. You will be responsible for proactively engaging dealer channels on leads and opportunities, leading aftermarket sales funnel review, supporting aftermarket sales forecast and process optimization, handling special orders, supporting new product introduction, collaborating with Marketing on promotional activities and conducting competitive analysis to enhance win rate within Carrier Transicold’s Truck/Trailer business segment. Strong analytical skills, passion for customers, ability to communicate effectively, and a self-motivated mindset are essential to be successful in this position.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Proactive dealer channel lead generation and opportunity follow-up

    • Lead weekly sales pipeline review using dashboard to ensure sales targets are achieved

    • Create and update dashboards for sales opportunity funnel and dealer performance

    • Quantify sales opportunity data and own opportunity update and quote management in Salesforce

    • Enhance analysis models in Salesforce and PowerBI to sharpen focus and respond to purchasing behavior changes

    • Analyze win/loss and provide actionable insight to drive product and process improvement

    • Support sales forecasting and annual planning, and establish dealer quotas with operational insight

    • Work with dealers on special orders and customer specific arrangement

    • Support new product go-to-market planning, implementation, and post-launch adjustment to maximize sales impact

    • Suggest and support marketing activities to speed up new product adoption, including outreach calls, dealer training, and collateral creation

    • Enhance sales operation effectiveness with industry and competitive intelligence

    • Support aftermarket sales business development managers, answer inbound sales inquiries, route qualified opportunities to the right sales interface for development and closure

    Required Qualifications  

    • Bachelor’s Degree

    • 2+ years of experience in inside sales and/or sales operations

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Sales Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Economics

    • Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations and data requires an evaluation of intangible variables

    • Experienced in PowerBI (preferred), Tableau, or other data visualization software

    • Experienced in sales pipeline management in SalesForce or other CRM

    • Experience in an ERP such as JDE is a plus

    • Have a professional presence with strong ability to communicate and build relationships internally and externally

    • Prior customer-facing experience

    • Ability to exercise independently in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

    • Ability to translate product features and functions into user benefits to address user pain points

    • Self-driven and excels in a dynamic environment

    • Team-oriented with strong growth and play to win mindset

    • Excellent computer skills in MS Office applications, database software and collaboration tools such as Teams and Zoom

    • Knowledge of transport refrigeration systems and applications is a plus
