    TYPICAL DUTIES

    1. Keep the machines and equipment in efficient operating conditions

    2. Inspect machines and perform preventive maintenance

    3. Dismantle, move and repair all types of machinery and equipment

    4. Perform other similar and less skilled work

    5. Modification, fabrication, and installation of machinery and equipment

    6. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment

    7. Follow all site safety rules specific to their position, as seen in the associate handbook, cardinal rule cards, job specific standard work and any EHS training documents

    8. Report all chemical spills and other environmental concerns to their supervisor, security or EHS immediately

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Must be able to work from complicated drawings and specifications

    2. Must be able to understand and use a wise variety of precision measuring instruments

    3. Must possess demonstrated ability to perform operations involving use of all types of machine tools

    4. Any duties previously assigned to obsolete classification 'Automotive Mechanic"

    5. Must be able to use shop mathematics and handbook formulas

    6. Must complete applicable safety programs

    7. Must possess current journeyman's card for machine repair or have successfully completed a Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Program for machine repair or successfully complete (80% or higher) the applicable Industrial Assessment Test
