Required Skills:

• Software Simulation and Automation Engineer supporting the continued design, development, and quality delivery of Simulation & Test Automation applications for Carrier HVACR domain products
• Experience in Web, Mobile, Windows Desktop and Embedded GUI Application automated testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, Squish, Test Complete, PyWinAuto etc. is preferred
• Experience in Python, C# or any automation scripting language is mandatory
• Have exposure in Model based tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or FMU based simulations in python and/or other tools
• Basic domain Knowledge on HVACR
• Familiar with communication protocols like Modbus, CAN, RS232/485 serial and others
• REST API manual (or automation) testing using POSTMAN or other tools and
• Understanding of XML, JSON payloads for API Testing
• Experience with test management tools like ADO, Jira, IBM RQM, and automation scripts to upload/download artifacts using APIs is preferred
• Adhere to the Automation Framework for Carrier domain products and provide enhancements as suitable
• Learn and implement appropriate automation technologies to meet the short- and long-term goals of the company

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be a key contributor to the design, development, and quality delivery of Simulation & Test Automation e applications for HVAC product controls software. This position will focus on new development of New features in Test Automation, execution of firmware testing as well as maintenance of existing applications. This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with a team of engineers to design and develop robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.

• We’re a collaborative bunch, so you’ll contribute to all phases of the Product Development Life Cycle, from design to implementation, testing, release and sustaining
• You will work closely with Scrum teams to deliver products on time with quality
• You’ll also coordinate with leads to understand and maintain an in-depth understanding of the current and upcoming requirements, features for proposed releases
• We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time
• Adhere to the Automation Framework for HVAC domain products and enhancements
• Design and develop new features according to product functional specification and design requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the team on test plans and strategies.
• Able to meet project plans for application development activities of a project; prioritizing work to accomplish demanding changes.
• Ensuring defects are reviewed on a regular basis and resolved in the required timeframe
• Must be aware and able to work in Agile, Incremental or spiral development methodology
