Requirements

Carrier Transicold is looking for a Quality Engineer in Beroun. We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of requirements and to apply for the position. If you don’t fill all of the requirements, you may still be considered.

As a minimum you must have:

• Previous experience in quality management
• English & Czech languages (daily usage)
• Reading technical documentation
• Presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of PC Excel / Word / PowerPoint
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 5%

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• University degree in electromechanics

• Experience with quality management from Automotive

• Internal audits

• Knowledge of quality tools - FMEA, control plan, PPAP, QRQC, 8D, 5 WHY, KAIZEN

• Experience in the area of ISO 9001: 2015 or IATF 16949

• Knowledge of SAP

Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Ensure conformity to production standards
• Coordinate Shift Quality Auditors, set goals and monitor quality KPI
• Pilot waste reduction and First Pass Yield improvement in production
• Train operators, audit assembly and brazing
• Present quality results to reporting line
• Ensure regular verification and calibration of tools (internal and external calibration)
• Solve customer complaints (zero kilometer  DOA / Warranty or beyond (containment, root cause analysis, design of corrective actions)
• Update Quality Documentation - FMEA, Control Plan, Control Cards
• Define control plan according to FMEA output and WHQ guidance
• Cooperate with other departments to improve process
• Participate in customer and certification audits
• Ensures suppliers related issues detected in the workshop are reported to suppliers via SQE
• Maintain trend data and RRCA for areas of responsibility quality metrics (CE, FPY, COPQ, Scrap); deploy V-dive and MPR tools to drive improvement.
• Support plant’s ISO and Cx Operating systems
