We are seeking an experienced sales leader to lead a sales team focused on growing our Service Agreements and Service Repairs streams which will contribute to the continued growth and success of Carrier Service.

    Based in Ontario, Canada (other locations permitted) this position will be responsible for driving the execution of sales strategies and programs to achieve sales goals to include:

    • A regular and rigorous review of sales activities to achieve orders plan
    • Ensure all sellers execute sales activity aligned to the growth plan
    • Review sales coverage to ensure resources are utilized effectively through alignment to verticals, territories, and customers
    • Lead consistent, productive sales coaching sessions with each member of the sales team while providing timely feedback on sales performance
    • Ensure sales team members develop, maintain, and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities while ensuring an accurate forecast of bookings, revenue, and sales initiatives
    • Assist with the development and presentation of strategic sales presentations/proposals
    • Develop sales team members
    • Monitor sales metrics, implement actions to improve sales performance, and identify opportunities for growth
    • Adopt and support tools/platforms, initiatives and programs focused on enhancing sales efficiency and effectiveness

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree is required, or 10+ years’ experience in the HVAC or in the Building Technologies industries.
    • 5+ years’ experience in people management in the HVAC or in the Building Technologies industries, in professional positions with increasing responsibility.

    Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):

    • Demonstrated experience in Service and Aftermarket industries in sales.
    • Understanding of market dynamics including industry trends
    • Proven track record of coaching sales teams to deliver results
    • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from various sources in both graphic and verbal format, while easily translating them to the target audience
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
    • Working experience and advanced skills with CRM, preferably SalesForce
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities
    • Superior follow-up and follow-through skills

    Additional information

    • Hybrid work environment, ideally in one of these preferred work locations: Mississauga or Ottawa (ON). We are also open to consider candidates to work from Montreal, Quebec City, Edmonton, or Vancouver.
    • Traveling is required up to 50% within Canada.
