Primary Responsibilities

• Performs market, spend and vendor assessments, develops procurement strategies, and secures buy-in from corporate procurement, product development, and operational teams
• Negotiate, review & manage review & execution process of agreements to align with company policies and sourcing strategies of Indirect Procurement organization.
• Evaluates, develops, and on-boards new suppliers and leads supplier relationship management and maintenance efforts for existing suppliers
• Enforces adherence to procurement strategies for sourcing initiatives, negotiations and nomination for new services, and tactically transforms existing business to align with the strategies
• Administers reports, contract requirements, meetings & performance reports
• Continuously drives supply chain and supplier efficiency improvements and drives down costs
• Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution.
• Responds to supplier and internal customer issues or problems.
• Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
• Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
• Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Additional responsibilities may be added based on experience and scope of the role.​

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Preferred 2 to 5 years of prior purchasing or procurement experience
• The ideal candidate will have procurement or purchasing experience in an industrial equipment manufacturing environment

• Skilled in market analysis and development of procurement strategies

• Willingness to dive into details and develop solutions
• Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Ariba Sourcing, eRFX, and eAuction experience preferred.
