Our Fire & Security business encompasses a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial systems, including fire and carbon monoxide detection, alarm signaling, incident management, evacuation, monitoring, fire, gas, and water mist suppression, fire and gas safety solutions, and industrial equipment controls. Our security business offers access control and event monitoring, electronic locks, hospitality solutions, mobile apps and credentialing, real estate access solutions, remote access management, video management, and video analytics.
 

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Manage & Deliver IoT Solutions to Customers

• Lead projects and manage system requirements to execute IoT solutions

• Track key performance metrics for IoT solutions

• Partner with the Digital team to integrate solutions into Carrier’s Cloud platform

• Develop test plans and simulations, conduct design reviews
   

Required Qualifications:

• Direct experience executing IoT solutions with customers.

• Experience interfacing with technical teams 

• Experience with front-end innovation in IoT.

• Experience with Secure Software Development.

• Experience with Cellular Gateways and APIs

• Experience with Low Power Electronics & WiredWireless design (RS485, BLE, WiFi, LoRaWan, 5G, NB-IOT)

• Experience with Firmware, Software, and operating systems (C programming, C++, Python, FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux) 

• Certified Product Owner or Scrum Master. Familiarity with IoT standards (MQTT, Sparkplug, AWS IOT Core)

• Experience with relevant standards PTCRB, FCC, UL, CSA, and IEC for electronic device qualification
   

Education:
 

BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of experience developing IoT Solutions
