  • leads electrification programs for HVAC and Refrigeration equipment with a special technical focus on power electronics and electrical architecture.

  • Selects, leads, directs, evaluates, and develops a team of experienced professional electrical engineers and technical and administrative support staff to ensure that electrical engineering operations are completed on time, within budget, and as per the set goals.

  • Designs a career development program for the team and develops medium-term planning for the growth of the process to ensure that the skills and performance of employees meet the organization’s current and future needs.

  • Leads projects to expand, improve or modify production activity.

  • Evaluates the characteristics of all possible equipment available and recommend acquiring the most appropriate equipment for carrying out the operations to ensure efficient and optimal use of equipment.

  • Allocated project work and oversees contractor performance to ensure quality work.

  • Manages teams with a focus on policy and sets leadership and managerial direction for electronic and digital engineering activities to ensure the organization's objectives are achieved.

  • Represents the organization at important conferences, meetings, boards, panels, committees, or working groups to present, explain, or defend findings or recommendations, negotiate compromises or agreements, or exchange information.

  • Attends EH&S training and meetings, supervises and follows up on EH&S training implementation status to build capabilities and ensure that EH&S requirements are understood and adhered to.

  • Mentors, coordinates and provides technical leadership in Electrical and Electronics Engineering function to increase its effectiveness as well as ensure that business objectives are achieved.

  • Identifies risks within the business and develops improvement plans to control risk.

  • Directs project management, capital planning, and project execution to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per the set goals.

  • Manages plans designs and executes policies and methods regarding electrical and electronic engineering operations, strategy implementation, and controls for maximizing current and future procedures.
