The ideal candidate has an electrical engineer degree with eight or more years of experience with wireless communications systems, including cellular networks, TCP and UDP communications, and network protocol debugging experience. The candidate will also need hardware experience at the system level and an understanding of firmware and software development in support of cellular and backend server communications.
The candidate will be working for a rapidly growing business division within a large firm with revenues exceeding 20 billion dollars annually and will be the Company’s first hire in this area. This individual will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the Company’s SIM card management process, including end-to-end life cycle orchestration communication issues, determining the root cause of the failures, and working in conjunction with the hardware and software development teams to resolve these issues and confirm performance improvements.
Experience working with Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) is preferred. Ideally, the candidate will have sufficient experience to develop advanced SQL database queries on various backend servers, developing scripting tools as needed for data analysis, and the ability to analyze large data sets programmatically.
