    About the role 

    As a Supply Chain Specialist. you will work with limited supervision to achieve day-to-day objectives impacting supply chain strategies and operational goals. You will be also responsible for making minor changes or enhancements to supply chain management processes and systems and explains policies, practices and procedures to other functions to support Supply Chain Strategy.

    Requirements 

    As a minimum you must have: 

    • University Degree (preferably a Degree in ADE or administration)
    • 3 – 5 years of experience in Purchasing and Logistics
    • Experience working with management systems (ERP) , SAP preferable
    • Fluent English level (B2) ad Spanish
    • Good command of MSOffice, particularly Excel
    • The ability to work in an organized manner
    • Good communication skills
    • Valid permit to work in the UE

    Responsibilities 

    As a Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll be responsible for: 

    • Providing expertise to one or more Supply Chain disciplines in implementations and process execution.
    • Working with internal teams to coordinate procurement and shipment of supplies.
    • Inventory Control: Daily crossing of inventory in the system with physical inventory in 3PL (external logistics operator); solve system incidents due to stock imbalances in close communication with support consultants; Inventory transactions; Creation of articles in the item master data; Lead the annual physical inventory
    • Direct purchases of material from factories: Verification of the minimum stock levels to propose and place purchase orders to the different factories; Claim for acknowledgments of factory orders; Update of confirmed dates in the system; Verification of invoices received Vs purchase orders
    • Logistics: Request for national and international transport quotes and analysis of service levels; Application of transportation costs to the different items as a higher value of the product; Monitoring of maritime shipments and management of import documentation; Comparison of distribution rates. Integration of transport providers.
    • Transport incidents: Creation of claim files to factories and carriers for incidents attributable to their management. Request for direct manual invoices and follow-up. Claim to the corresponding insurance.
    • Reports to the Financial Department: Estimate of payments to external providers two months ahead; Different reports requested by the Finance Department; External audits: F -Gas quota; Compliance with internal procedures; PO closures (cleaning of open POs older than 6 months in coordination with the Customer Service Department)
    • Resolving general queries from internal and external stakeholders.
    • Adheres to import, export, and excise regulation as per compliance.
