    The Fire & Security Products (FSP) business unit at Carrier develops a comprehensive product portfolio to protect buildings, people, and assets: Innovative residential and commercial fire detection and suppression products with global brands including Kidde, Edwards, Marioff, Autronica, GST, and Det-Tronics. Innovative security products that include advanced software and hardware, IP solutions, wireless communications, electronic locking systems, and mobile applications with leading brands including LenelS2 & Supra, and Onity. The controls business comprises brands including UTEC, Fireye, and Fenwal with controls products for HVAC, gas ignition, temperature monitoring, burners, flame scanning, residential, commercial buildings, and industrial applications.

    About This Role  

    Carrier is seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. 

    To be successful as a warehouse supervisor, you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable, possess a sense of urgency, and have excellent organizational and time management skills. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Supervising 3PL and daily activities. 
    • Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity. 
    • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials. 
    • Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels. 
    • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation. 
    • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. 
    • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds. 
    • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers 

    Required Qualifications 

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 3 + years of experience as a warehouse supervisor

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field preferred. 
    • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management. 
    • Time management skills and the ability to delegate. 
    • Excellent leadership and organizational skills. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software. 
    • Problem-solving skills. 
    • Sense of Urgency a must 
    • Ability to think strategically and broadly about the business while fully understanding the details, workflows, systems, and near-term issues facing the organization 
    • Strong ability to communicate complex and controversial topics and concepts to a broad and diverse audience and be confident in high-profile communications, including presentation skills and group facilitation. 
    • Ability to develop strong rapport at all levels of the company to build collaboration and alignment cross-functionally and influence senior leadership. 
    • Demonstrated ability to be both a team player and a leader, focused on making a positive impact on the organization. 
    • Excellent systems skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint 
    • Supply Plan/Inventory Modeling
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
    • Global end-to-end supply chain and operations process knowledge 
    • Hands-on experience working in popular Planning tools (SAP/Oracle etc.)
