About the Position
An ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Agile facilitation, and professional Agile coaching, to provide hands-on mentoring to Agile teams, SMEs across teams, and Product Owners towards the overall goal of organizational Agile transformation. A DBA Agile Team coach is an expert in Lean and Agile practices relevant to the Marketing domain in Beverages / Retail / Consumer Goods industries. She / he is savvy in multiple Agile / Lean frameworks / methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe and Nexus. Spotify etc. Agile tools such as Jira to promote Agile adoption. A DBA Agile Team Coach is no stranger to Agile tools such as Jira, Aha, Miro, Asana etc. and promotes their adoption at the grass root level to help the cause of continuous visibility of progress to enable continuous alignment, and timely decisions at various levels. A DBA Agile Team Coach is familiar with the typical flow of Data Science, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics work to help facilitate team solutioning.
Coaches Team members, Product Owners, SMEs in 2 to 3 DBA Pods concurrently on using Agile methods
Facilitate Agile events for 2 to 3 DBA Pods and promote their mutual alignment
Contribute to DBA Agile Chapter’s efforts for Enterprise Agile transformation
Assess individual Pod needs and implement best Agile practices from Iterative-Incremental methods that are based on Agile principles (e.g., from Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe, LESS, DAD, Nexus, Spotify, Prototyping etc.)
Assess Agile Pod maturity and create action plans to improve maturity
Work with the Agile Domain Coaches to promote self-organization and team accountability
Work with the Agile Chapter leaders to implement the Agile Strategy for DBA
Identify impediments to successful Agile transformation and share with the relevant leadership team members
Promote and improve team level tool adoption, automation, and consistent usage
Provide support for pods to mutually align and work effectively with shared services and teams who may not be using Agile ways of working
Find continuous improvement opportunities in DBA pods to start highlighting quick wins and successes towards the success of the larger strategy
Coach, refresh Agile scrum practices (roles, process, artifacts) as needed among pods
Contribute to defining and refining DBA processes and best practices in support of Agile transformation
Marketing knowledge/experience specific to in Beverages / Retail / Consumer Goods industries preferred
Working understanding of technical terminology in order to speak conversationally with data scientists/engineers preferred
Working understanding of Marketing terminology in order to speak conversantly about various business process stages (e.g. stages of Market campaigns, Cohorts etc.) preferred
Experience working outside of software development, with Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence agile teams, focusing on the application of data collection & research to useful and actionable insides insights preferred
Familiarity with the CRISP-DM (or similar) process to be able to understand the typical flow of Data Science work and help to facilitate team solutioning or decision making along the way preferred
Familiarity with Business Intelligence applications such as Tableau, Power BI, cloud database technologies such as Snowflake
Must have solid background and expertise utilizing various Agile frameworks and models (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe, LESS, DAD, Nexus, Spotify) in various domains including non- software development teams
Must have excellent communication, presentation, relationship building, collaboration and conflict resolution skills
Expertise coaching Agile roles in Business, IT, Agile teams (Co-located or remote) to achieve their goals and deliver value to their customers
Experience in using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jira Advanced Roadmap, Aha, Miro, Asana, to promote transparency, data to aid Agile adoption
Conduct basic & fundamental Agile trainings
Highly skilled in various Agile facilitation methods and be able to influence without authority
Work closely with Agile Chapter on strategic and tactical priorities, lessons learned from supported pods, and overall Agile transformation
Skilled in User Story writing and various Product management practices

The salary range for this role is:
$98,000.00 - $153,200.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
