Resumen

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Warehouse and Logistics Engineering to lead the planning, engineering, and optimization of advanced warehouse and logistics systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in facility layout design, automation integration, and material handling system development. This role is critical in supporting scalable, cost-effective, and future-ready supply chain infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

1 Lead the design and engineering of new warehouse layouts, including racking systems, material flow, automation, and dock operations.

2 Develop and implement logistics infrastructure strategies aligned with business growth, service level targets, and efficiency goals.

3 Analyze material handling and storage solutions (e.g., AS/RS, conveyors, AGVs) to recommend and implement optimal configurations.

4 Provide technical expertise on the integration of warehouse automation, robotics, and IoT technologies.

5 Conduct/Lead capacity planning and simulation modeling for facility expansion or process redesign projects.

6 Define engineering standards, equipment specifications, and safety guidelines for logistics operations.

7 Evaluate and select engineering partners, third-party vendors, automation partners, and technology providers.

8 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Corporate Logistics, IT, Finance, Procurement, and external consultants.

9 Support capital project development, budgeting, and ROI analysis for engineering initiatives.

10 Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

11 Ensure warehouse and logistics designs are compliant with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
