Resumen
Conduct Industrial Competitive Analysis and key industry players’ Financial Statement Analysis for each Procurement Category to implement comprehensive Financial Models and Purchasing Cost Analysis methodologies to develop financial Strategies to support the Procurement team to build plans, budgets, and financial intelligence tools to negotiate actionable, profitable and sustainable deals that should translate into healthier long-term margins without compromising quality, service, and applicable compliance. Leverage partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades
1.INDUSTRIAL COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS: Create shared understanding of the different market and industrial dynamics for our main Procurement Categories by implementing and conducting competitive analysis for each industry that includes the supplier’s competitive set (competitors) and relevant players in all stages of the value chain to identify potential levers for the company. Analysis must include macroeconomic and geopolitical considerations, analysis of industrial cartels, commodity markets (metals, agricultural, energy), financial derivatives for risk mitigation, etc. Partner with Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) and Risk Management to leverage available information.
2.FINANCIAL STATEMENTS ANALYSIS (FSA): Perform Financial Statements Analysis and public financial information (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) of Suppliers, competitive set and value chain players to identify compressible spend opportunities.
3.FINANCIAL MODELING: Lead the creation of Comprehensive Financial Models for each category to leverage outcomes from the Competitive Industrial Analysis, the FSA, and current Agreements to identify risks and opportunities across the whole Procurement value chain.
4.FINANCIAL MODELING: Implement Purchasing Cost Analysis methodologies (Should-cost, TCO, Target Cost, Buy-or-Make, etc.) for the different Strategic Sourcing Categories, that could lead to potential self-manufacturing and vertical integration projects. DCF, NPV, IRR, WACC, CAPM required.
5.STRATEGIC & FINANCIAL PLANNING: Partner with the Procurement Team to develop and update Strategy for the relevant Categories to embed them in the construction of the Company’s Annual Plan, Budgeting, Last Estimates, and Long-Range Plan according to our corporate strategy.
6.FINANCIAL PLANNING: Work with cross-functional teams and leaders in Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to establish targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), deadlines, and process betterments to enhance Business Performance Management and Communication.
7.FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS: Perform variance analysis on Purchase Price Variances – PPVs, Volumes, Mix, Source for raw materials, freight and warehousing on monthly basis identifying risks and opportunities to improve results. Follow-up on Cost Innovation Projects and Saving Initiatives.
8.FINANCIAL REPORTING: Prepare scorecards, dashboards, and presentations to Senior Management to follow up on savings, risks and opportunities that may affect the business P&L.
