    • Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.

    • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of seven years experience as a certified refrigerant technician. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program is preferred.

    CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES

    • Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems; process controls; mechanical power transmissions; painting; plumbing; carpentry; or engine repair; and CFC Certification.

    OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES

    • Uses personal computer and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS, and training-basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    SAFETY

    1. Complete all required and assigned HSE training at a satisfactory level

    2. Follow all activity policies and procedures, including all HSE-related requirements at all times

    3. Participate in all HSE-related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment

    4. Report any conditions that you feel could result in an accident or injury and/or stop work if required.
