    or other assigned area of responsibility in matters related to HSE performance, compliance, trends, and concerns. Provides direct and timely advise and information to the appropriate management in all matters related to HSE performance, compliance, trends, and concerns.

    Assists in overseeing specific HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures for the assigned account or market area, making certain play books are current, complete, and effectively implemented.

    Assists in the development and implementation of strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required.

    Identifies opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services.

    Responds to customer member concerns regarding HSE matters.

    Establishes work schedules and assign work to staff members.
    Ability to travel to various sites within account region as needed

    Other duties may be assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

    High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Minimum of 3 years of related management experience.

    Working knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred.

    Experience working in manufacturing, robotics, construction, and facility maintenance and management is preferred.

    CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

    Any of the following: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) - preferred.

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
    Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

    FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

    Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

    SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

    Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

    Infrastructure and Project Delivery

    • Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure alignment of safety objectives and adherence to legal requirements, and client procedures

    • Identifying potential hazards and risks associated with the project activities, and developing strategies to mitigate them effectively.

    • Act on behalf of the client to ensure procedures and policies are ultized based on construction activities

    • Evaluation of contractor's performance and advise project managers and leadership

    Safety Documentation

    • Review contractor safety plans for conformance to site procedures, identify gaps, and establish mitigation

    • Maintain accurate records of all contractor safety programs and requested documentation

    Required Skills:

    • Functional safety knowledge including but not limited to, OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, ACGIH, and NIOSH.

    • Knowledge of collaborative software such as ASANA, Autodesk, etc.

    Culture

    • Promote safety through all applicable responsibilities through problem solving, communication, and relationship building.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Safety Supervisor position is $100,000.00 annually [or $48.08 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Project Safety Supervisor position is $105,000.00 annually [or $50.48 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
