Architects interface across all business areas, acting as visionaries to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects. They conceive strategies, solutions, build consensus, and sell/execute solutions. Additional responsibilities may include the establishment of the overall architectural viewpoints and the establishment and oversight of organization standards and policies. Architects identify major system interfaces, business capabilities need, and existing architecture weaknesses and opportunities for systems.
Serving in this role requires an individual to be a self-starter, work independently, and as a team member. They have to have strong communication skills in interfacing with business partners and the IT community. Architects are also responsible for educating and guiding others on architectural standards, principles, methodology and trends. They must have significant business knowledge in supply chain area and have expertise within one or more areas of information, solution, and/or technical architecture in which they concentrate. Architects are expected to mentor and coach less experienced staff and provide knowledge transfer across the organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Broad skills of E2E Supply Chain preferably in drug product manufacturing and distribution operations with a solid background of Technology
Broad skills of Product flow, Business Process and Information Management in Sourcing Replenishment, Inventory Management, Distribution, Transportation, Value Added Service and Return Logistics in B2B Health Sciences sector.
Experience in running a business or business technology operations in E2E Supply Chain or any of the above functions.
Deep understanding and knowledge of cloud computing methodologies and tools
Functional expertise to translate business requirements to an E2E Architectural Design (to improve transactional automation, data integration and analytics)
Senior stakeholder management, customer centricity & servant leadership
Experience of Healthcare & Life Science's sectors is strongly preferred.
Functional expertise in one of the core transactional platforms (SAP, SFDC, Manhattan WMS, Hybris or any leading EHR) is desired.
Professional eminence and networking in the Product and Service partner space is a plus.
Ability to meet objectives, deliver quality outcome in a high-performance environment.
Crafts architecture for systems and data integration, that enables the organization to deliver integration at scale.
Analyzes system operations through monitoring, capacity analysis and root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), modeling of business processes, application design patterns, and business/functional documents
Supports the building and maintenance of an Enterprise portfolio to support Application capabilities lifecycle and roadmap initiatives.
Supports development of Platform Reference Architectures and Roadmaps
Advises business areas in the analysis of innovative technologies and how they impact the broader Enterprise Architecture
Analyzes the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend tactical and strategic changes.
Analyzes the impact of implementing new technologies into the IT.
Develops a technical strategy for data integrations and implement a scalable design using industry best practice.
Drives and execute proof of concept (PoC) and Pilots of new technology for evaluation as well as to build minimal viable product (MVP) solutions.
Provides guidance, direction, and support to junior members of the technical team.
Analyzes industry standards and trends in integration technologies.
What your background should look like
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
