Ensuring all loads are positioned correctly and safely secured for in transit outbound journeys. To ensure the correct use of appropriate equipment of retaining bars and straps
Ensuring loading schedules are followed to ensure correct pallets are despatched to Service Centres within the Network
To accurately record and administer information that supports KPI's, quality, equipment and load traceability
Ensuring trailers are unloaded safely and deliver inbound consignments to correct locations making sure any accompanying paperwork is accounted for and submitted to the Despatch Supervisor
Managing known 3rd Party consignments safely and accurately along with any additional communicated ad-hoc work streams that come through the network
Ensure all issues are communicated immediately to the Despatch Supervisor and support remedial action for positive outcome
To work with, communicate effectively and co-operate with colleagues to ensure despatch runs productively and effectively to achieve optimum service and results
Ensure all good housekeeping principles (sweeping and washing) are maintained in consideration of trailers, the transport yard and within the warehouse
Support other sections of the Service Centre as and when required
Advise Manager of any instance requiring special action
Maintain Standards in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy
Key Accountabilities
All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal products for Human use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP - REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix.

Skills / Knowledge
Capacity to use initiative and work under pressure regarding despatch and loading activities
Excellent communication both verbal and written
Excellent own time management with key focus on schedules and departure deadlines
Good all round knowledge of the Service Delivery Department to include Manual, Despatch, SRDC and Bulk functions
To be flexible and carry out any reasonable requests as determined by SC Management
Be self motivated, responsible with a commitment to compliance and Health & Safety
