CGI has a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Consulting Services in our East Region. This role is ideal for a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual with Information Technology business development experience in the public sector to become our NYC Account Leader.

You must have deep, senior level relationships within multiple city agencies. You will be working to drive and grow our IT Services business. Must have experience selling to or engaging with multiple City of New York agencies.

You will manage strong delivery SME’s and will focus on growing our relationship and portfolio within the City of New York. Must be currently living in NYC metro area.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Expand our portfolio with the government sector within “City of New York”.
Drive Revenue and Profitability.
Bring deep knowledge and Information Technology services delivery capability, be coordinated into the market place and be responsible for bringing solutions and thought leadership to our clients, work well in collaborative environments, be highly motivated by delivering excellent services to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
Will use and demonstrate your experience and creativity to develop, propose and implement solutions for sophisticated client problems in advanced business and technology environments.
Lead a team of professionals – both direct reports and via US based onshore delivery centers.
Lead client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.
Contribute to business strategy, budget planning and lead profitability of engagements.
Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts within the City of New York City Public Sector.
Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings.
Overall accountability for the winning of driven proposals.
Overall accountability of service delivery to our clients.
Ensure success of engagements using global US based onshore delivery centers and strategic partners.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The candidate should possess experience and expertise in the following areas:
Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated ability in senior level, City Leadership or Information Technology Consulting for government clients.
Deep understanding, knowledge and relationships with the City of New York City Public Sector.
Ability to interact with agency C-Level decision makers.
A keen, flexible and bold perceptiveness; outstanding conceptual thinking as well as analytical and problem solving skills.
Be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
Proven track record of crafting and maintaining business partnerships and relationships.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Desired qualifications to be successful in this role
Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&Ls, and complex pricing models.
Business development including strategic sales planning.
Client engagement management and relationship building.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $161,400 - $249,600.
