Information Technology Data Analyst TS/SCI Clearance REQUIRED
Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for an Information Technology Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets from various sources to help drive business decisions and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our organization's IT systems and processes. The Information Technology Data Analyst will work closely with other members of the IT team, business users, and external vendors to ensure high-quality and accurate data analysis.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Review and analyzes collected data to determine the performance and health of a system or network
• Recommend and implements changes to the overall system or network to ensure service to the customer
• May include recommending and making changes to hardware and software configurations across a system or network to maximize performance
• Collect and analyze complex data sets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain data analytics tools, dashboards, and reports to provide relevant and actionable information to business users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and requirements.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.
• Create and maintain documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and results.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems and processes using data-driven metrics and benchmarks.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of IT projects and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external data vendors and service providers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis and visualization tools and techniques.
• Provide technical training and support to end-users on data analysis and visualization tools and techniques.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or related fields.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of project management principles and experience with project planning and implementation.
• Understanding of data security and privacy principles and regulations.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• One or more of the following certifications:
o Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
o Microsoft Certified
o Azure Data Scientist Associate

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $90,310 - $157,190
