Audit the quality of work and documentation of the team and evaluate areas to improve.
Lead continuous improvement projects that target key performance indicators such as injury rates, equipment uptime, mean time to repair, and system capacity.
Use data to measure and lead the performance of your team.
Partner with Chewy Operations and Support teams to achieve business goals.
Coordinate third party vendors performing work for Chewy.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience running a maintenance or operations team in a warehouse or factory.
Experience working with material handling equipment such as conveyors and powered industrial trucks.
Experience using information systems and data to measure and improve key performance indicators.
Ability to simultaneously support multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate and collaborate with cross functional partners.
Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to travel as needed.
Bonus:
Master's Degree.
Experience maintaining electromechanical material handling systems.
Experience maintaining industrial control systems.
Experience maintaining electrical systems.
Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
