    Position summary

    Customs Drawback Manager

    C.H. Robinson is hiring for a Customs Duty Drawback Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the duty drawback services for all U.S. branches within the C.H. Robinson network. You will manage and maintain multiple concurrent customer drawback programs and lead a team of Duty Drawback Analysts.     Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of escalation for all things related to Duty Drawback

    • Act as network Subject Matter Expert (SME) including network training and involvement with sales opportunities

    • Provide coaching and manage performance to ensure productivity, quality, efficiency, and service objectives are achieved

    • Develop direct reports in systems and analytics skills

    • Act as a resource for team members including branch leadership, regional operations peers, and direct reports

    • Establish relationships with key stakeholders within the region and Global Forwarding network

    • Coach and guide team of Duty Drawback Analysts to improve performance and drive accountability while supporting personal and professional development of the team

    • Drive a trusting culture of open two-way communication, inclusivity, and continuous improvement

    • Cascade communications on divisional and organizational initiatives to ensure employee’s understanding and alignment

    • Employ strong change management tactics to drive desired behaviors and results both for direct and indirect reports

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required:

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years of experience filing drawback under TFTEA requirements
    • Knowledge of U.S. Customs entry processes and partner government agency regulations
    • Knowledge of CBP drawback rules and regulations

    Preferred:

    • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
    • Licensed Customs Broker or NCBFAA Customs Certified Specialist (CCS)
    • Extensive Knowledge of U.S. Customs entry processes and partner government agency regulations
    • Previous experience leading people leaders
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
