    Position summary

    What’s the opportunity?

    We are looking for an Engineering Product Manager II to join our European Surface Transportation (EST) team. This position will be based in our Warsaw (Poland) office.

    As an Engineering Product Manager II, you collaborate to define and deliver products and services that delight our customers, add value and achieve C.H. Robinson business strategies. You work closely with business stakeholders and engage with customers to help define the product or service vision. You provide direction and support to other team members. A successful Engineering Product Manager must build relationships within their own team as well as with peers across technology and the business network.

    What will you be doing?

    • Collect, analyze, and translate business needs into system requirements in collaboration with product/value owners, business stakeholders, architecture, and the development team

    • Collaborate with other technology teams in building cross-functional solutions that integrate with other services and modules

    • Partner with the team to mitigate risks and resolve impediments.

    • Keep stakeholders informed on deliverables. 

    • Identify and escalate risks that could impact project or feature deadlines;

    • Manage business and technical risk areas and ensure that test plan covers requirements.

    • Leads cross-team coordination and UAT

    • Review completed development work with product/value owners, stakeholders, and users as necessary before release into production

    • Respond to and prioritize support incidents, including diagnosing the issue and working with your team and others to determine a potential fix 

    • Understand business processes and technology solutions and proactively identify opportunities for improvement 

    • Educate, collaborate with, and influence others including internal business stakeholders, external customers, and technology partners

    • Contribute to the success of the team through collaboration, connectivity, and the ability to inspect and adapt to changes

    • Learn and grow within an Agile team and continually deliver value to the business

    What are we looking for?

    • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/System Analyst or Product Manager/Product Owner or industry experience

    • Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously

    • Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and effective manner with technical and non-technical audiences and interact with all types of contacts including technology, business, and management.

    • Strong facilitator; adept at running meetings with end-users, gathering, and managing business requirements, and balancing priorities

    • Keen attention to detail, with a commitment to follow through and follow-up.

    • Strategically thinks outside the box and presents creative solutions and innovative ideas

    • Ability to demonstrate ROI awareness

    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

    • Working experience within an Agile environment

    • Experience of MS Office products - Teams, Word, Outlook, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
