Senior Procurement Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing of goods and services. You will collaborate with internal business partners in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, with a focus on total value and business velocity. The global reach of this role means you will see the impact of your work across all businesses, and direct impact on profitability. Responsibilities:

• Strategically and competitively source Indirect, Technology and Intellectual Property licensing
• Foster strong internal partner engagement to understand their procurement and business needs
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to understand their capabilities and product roadmap. Identify and develop new supply sources. Work with cross functional teams to address all aspects of category management including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessments, pricing and product availability
• Define, develop and execute negotiation plans. Lead negotiation with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, terms and leadtime
• Drive multiple initiative to influence customers and suppliers at all levels
• Analyze spend to find opportunities and categories to reduce cost
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of Procurement processes, tools and overall operational efficiency
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure Procurement activities are in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Process purchase orders in a timely manner and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and expected quality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field and 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing & procurement, supplier management, contract management and negotiating complex purchases
• Extensive experience in driving advanced analytics capability, including setting data strategy, data visualization, and ad-hoc data extraction from source systems
• Demonstrated ability in building pricing model, should-cost analysis, and driving business process re-engineering
• Experience in SAP or major ERP systems. Experience in SAP Cloud Analytic (SAC) is highly desired
• Demonstrated track record in working across all layers of the organization, particularly with cross-functional global organizations, in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematic, Engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated success in driving strategies and analyzing market trends and developing market intelligence data
• Demonstrated success in developing and fostering relationships with suppliers while driving lower costs, on time delivery, superior performance and continuous improvement
• Experience in advancing Procurement systems and business analytics tools
• Proven ability to work with technical and non-technical business partners to overcome challenges and deliver results
• Highly organized, meticulous, ability to deal with ambiguity, and manage multiple projects
• Excellent people skills, project management skills and good business acumen
• CSCP, CPSM, CPSD, CIPS or equivalent certification
