What You’ll Do

The CX Consulting Engineer role is a technical consulting specialist that engages with customers to accelerate their adoption of Cisco products & solutions that transform their business and drive business outcomes. The role resides within the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) organization, one of Cisco’s fastest growing teams!

• Translate business requirements into solution design
• Work with customers to plan, design, configure and/or diagnose Cisco’s suite of products, services, and solutions
• Align technical solutions to customer business outcomes
• Build simulations in test labs to resolve sophisticated problems and validate designs/solutions.
• Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer to customers

Who You’ll Work With

The Consulting Engineer will collaborate with a number of strategic customers from varying industries to provide the best solution for our customers; working in conjunction with other internal teams and external partners.

Who You Are

An accomplished engineer with a strong customer first mentality and several years of experience in  network or security engineering supporting Cisco technologies/products in large scale enterprise environments.

Technical Expertise

• Professional level with equivalent relevant certifications ( eg CCNP).
• Experience of designing and implementing sophisticated network solutions
• Has demonstrable knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization.
• Demonstrates expertise on relevant technology and delivery methods.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams communicating effectively with customers and are proficient in German and English.
