    What You'll Do

    As a Vendor Manager within our Supplier and Engagement Management team, you will work with cross functional teams across Cisco IT to develop multi-year software strategies and roadmaps, partner with IT Senior Leadership and Global Procurement Services (GPS) on negotiation strategies and develop internal and external partner relationships. You will be responsible to track and manage annual savings targets and cost optimization aligned with your portfolio.

    Who You’ll Work With

    You will work with Cisco IT teams, GPS, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, Cisco Legal, M&A, and other cross-functional teams to deliver IT Asset Management (ITAM) services and cost optimization.

    Externally, you will partner with sales and leadership teams across software titles in your portfolio (from technical start-ups to Fortune 100 companies) on renewals, expansion of services, operational reviews and value case creation.

    Who You Are

    • BS/MS degree in technical fields related to software engineering (or related fields) with 10+ years’ experience in vendor management.
    • Knowledge in Oracle, SAP, SFDC, Microsoft, ServiceNow products and portfolios
    • In-depth knowledge of IT service management and assigned functional domains (e.g. applications, infrastructure, cloud)
    • Experience with enterprise software portfolio (e.g. CRM, ERP) in large ($10B+ annual revenue) global enterprises with all facets of software procurement models (perpetual licensing, subscription, cloud marketplaces, support and maintenance, software professional services)
    • Specific experience in the electronic / high tech industries is preferred.
    • You have previously arranged and conducted Supplier Business Review and negotiated contracts with the procurement team to promote company’s interests and mitigate risk.

    • Understanding of business processes and requirements in order to translate them into executive summaries and recommendations regarding software purchases and renewals.
    • You are adaptive and dynamic, allowing you to drive transformation and change mindsets.
    • Ability to understand technical issues & help connect the dots.
