Provides advanced support and resolves problems related to lab equipment.
Assists instructors in evaluations and laboratory exercise; conducts tours of lab; and coordinates fire and safety regulation compliance as needed.
Hires, supervises and schedules work/study students
Provides computer and technical support in the installation, operation and minor repair of computers, related software, hardware and other related equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of thirty (30) hours of postsecondary course work
AND
A minimum of nine (9) hours in the specific discipline; content courses must be completed with a grade of B or better
Preferences:
At least 1 year in the related field or education.
Requires use of electrical tools and power equipment
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Able to climb ladders
Clean Driving record
Experience with industrial automation, motor systems, and electronic technology is preferred.
