The Sr. Director - Bottler NRS Accounts serves as the primary conduit between BASN's NRS account leads, region field leads and the bottler's NRS call point leads. The role serves to improve overall NRS execution in the Bottler's geography, identify and execute local opportunities and be the face of BASN to regional NRS positions (i.e., Zone Managers, Region V.P.s, DOMs, RM etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for conducting vertical calls. Schedule and execute vertical calls with national & region key customer leads (i.e., Walmart, Kroger, DG, etc. Region V.P.s, DOMs, Zone Managers, RM etc.). The focus should be on providing sports drink subject and premium water matter expertise, gaining incremental floor space, back-room inventory, and driving seamless execution of national programs and promotions.
Critical tie between BASN Customer teams, BASN Field Execution teams and bottler KA leadership. Constructing thoughtful plans by event to leverage regional strengths and get the most from every investment.
Key stakeholder for market LOS by customer, connecting Commercial standards to local market upside and selling stronger PicOS to bottler leads to improve execution; including sell sheets. To improve execution, manage force ship process for innovation and mandated displays.
Responsible for managing post promotional and execution initiatives analysis with bottler and BASN team.
Be the SME - be the sports drink & premium water subject matter expert for the bottler's NRS account leads. Provide monthly business review and share category insights as available to build the knowledge base with the bottler's account leads.
Loop the feedback - identify local opportunities in NRS accounts and serve those opportunities back up to BASN NRS Directors. Steward information in both directions (from the bottler and to the bottler).
Collaborate with Commercial, BASN Sales Lead, BASN Customer Lead and bottler NRS Leads to construct thoughtful Incentives that drive incremental SOVI and cases on display. Launch, measure and communicate Incentive results to maximize impact across bottler geography. Incentives will be both internal (NRS Directors and KADs) and external (store manager, district managers, etc.)
Inspect what you expect - develop and align targeted volume forecasts and report back to the bottler's NRS team where opportunities exist.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree or relevant experience required
10+ years of Field & Shopper Experience, Retail Sales, Shopper Analytics, Key Account required
Strong self-starter
Strong project management, organization and strategizing skills required - with an emphasis on time management and communication
Expertise and comfortability working cross-departmentally, especially joint-planning with Sales Department
Great Relationship & Negotiation Skills - Strong at forging internal/external relationships and commanding trust/respect of others. + Process Management - accurate and timely reporting with drive to improve and streamline processes.
Expertise and fluency in Excel and PowerPoint
Driven work ethic & a positive attitude
Ability to work well under pressure & manage multiple and competing priorities; prioritizing tasks to effectively meet deadlines. Attention to detail and follow-through
The ability to conduct a cost/benefit analysis and manage a Divisional Field Marketing budget
Position requires substantial travel (50-75%) by car and plane, including both local and neighboring geographic territories
Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distances
Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
Position requires in-person attendance at bi-annual company retreats/meetings
