    orchestrate smart communications solutions across traditional and emerging channels to help clients drive increased customer engagement and optimize operational efficiencies.     A role you will love

    Production Designers are key members of the Computershare Communication Services Creative team. This position is a high-volume opportunity to design products for our clients in financial services. The Production Designer is responsible for information design and executing all daily production work from multiple business lines. This production role provides support to the Client Services, Solutions, and Sales teams and ensures deliverables are produced on time and meet SLA (service level agreement) requirements. The production process includes initial setup through final print ready files.

    • Create printed financial documents in line with established design guidelines. Review and proof graphics, layouts, and fonts for accuracy. Format logo files, client brand colors, and any original imagery to meet specs.

    • Coordinate with project team members to ensure solutions and technical requirements are implemented correctly.

    • Provide design services that meet customer and internal business requirements and quality standards.

    • Continuously look for ways to improve team policies, guidelines, quality controls and procedures.

    • Maintain current knowledge of graphic design trends and participate in ongoing skill development programs.

    What will you bring to the role?

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must understand that our team's mission is to place the customer experience at the heart of everything we do.

    • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Graphic Design;
    • Ability to understand business processes (internal and external)
    • A confident self-contributor with the ability to manage an individual tasks in the queue of a shared team workload.
    • Technical ability and proficiency in informational design (presenting information in well-constructed graphics and documents) - experience delivering aesthetically pleasing, yet functional design solutions with a strong working knowledge of printing technologies, including full-color and offset printing
    • Requires meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for layout, type, and color with regards to day-to-day templates - print design - financial print - statements/tax docs.
    • Developed communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications in response to internal and external client requests.
    • Working in PC-only environment using the following:
      • Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)

      • Quark Xpress (where applicable).

      • Microsoft Office
