The Senior Business Analyst Role will operate within the Project Management Office team and deliver Process, organisational and system change, consulting and continuous improvement solutions across multiple external and internal clients.
The Senior Business Analyst Role is also required to work collaboratively across teams within Computershare Utility Services leading the requirements and supporting solution design for project, change management and consulting related activity.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Plan and monitor the appropriate business analysis approach, requirements approval process and risks
Conduct stakeholder analysis to effectively obtain and capture requirements
Communicate requirements effectively with stakeholders to ensure common understanding
Identify and communicate risks and issues that may impact plans and/or scope
Ensure requirements fulfil project goals, objectives and stakeholder's needs
Assess and validate solution proposals
Provide input into test planning and execution and work collaboratively to assist with implementation
Manage business analysis performance by upholding Computershare's methodologies, BA practices, SDLC, and compliance requirements
Adapt approach to respond to changing organisational priorities
Participate in solution design with Technical Architects
Mentor and guide other less senior business analysts
What will you bring to the role?
Minimum of 4 years' experience as a business analyst
Experience with utilities business processes, business rules and market transactions
Strong knowledge of the Customer Service and Customer Operations utilities functions with a strong understanding of customer life cycles
Knowledge and understanding in developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Trello, teams, Jira to manage and prioritise work
Familiarity with Agile ways of working
Outcome focussed with attention to detail
Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly when expectations need to be managed due to change in circumstances
Desired experience:
Strong knowledge of Utility services products including billing applications, 3rd party vendor products and internal applications
Knowledge and experience in the Australian utility retail industry in water, gas or electricity
Knowledge of Agile methodology for business analysts
