Product Manager - (Mumbai/Pune, India)

Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a passionate and driven Product Manager (PM) to help improve existing products and create new products in the Unified Talent Management space. The PM will build and improve existing products and develop new product initiatives based on customer feedback, current performance and data analytics and market conditions research. The PM will identify customer pain points and challenges and develop the right product solutions that drive business value. All features are to be managed on a roadmap and have measurable success metrics. The PM will translate requirements and feedback into functional specifications for development. As a PM, you will bridge the technical and business worlds and being able to navigate the two is critical. Candidates must have strong communication and writing skills as well as the ability to interface with all groups in the company. Responsibilities will include speaking with customers, prospects, designers, analysts, and developers to communicate product vision and direction. The PM must possess the desire to constantly learn, have strong analytical skills, the ability to think outside the box and a unique blend of business and technical savvy. You will be required to collaborate with a global team across functions in this position

**In this role you will...
**

• Research and understand customer pain points
• Analyze and research market trends, competitors, and industry analyst publications
• Analyze existing customer usage and other analytics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Solution to address customer pain points
• Identify appropriate experiments to run to learn about customer needs and evaluate potential solutions
• Clearly articulate product feature requirements by developing functional specification documents
• Oversee product planning and execution from concept to release in an agile environment
• Track the release and performance of new solutions
• Identify the appropriate metrics to measure success and work with the development team to track events using tools in place
• Measuring and monitor features post-release and make optimizations
• Own and prioritize a backlog of features within an initiative
• Work with and communicate with cross functional stakeholders
• Collaborate with product managers who are based all around the world
• Prepare material for presentations and field enablement processes

**You’ve got what it takes if you have...
**

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field, business field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of SaaS Product Management experience
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage trade-offs, and work cross-functionally with engineering, design and marketing/business counterparts to deliver SaaS products
• Strong analytic and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to validate hypotheses
• Proven record of working with technical teams
• Delivering iterative product functionality in an agile environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
• Ability to identify customer’s major problems and unarticulated needs through various methods like feedback sessions, and surveys
