We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant, a subject matter expert in implementation on enterprise software products, and customers business specific requirements. This position is key to deliver the on-going projects, guide customers on best practices, provide cutting edge solutions for SumTotal customers.

In this role you will…

• Facilitate and drive effective requirement gathering and configuration mapping workshops
• Train customer resources on solution usage and enable them to be independent
• Support customer testing of the solution and address any issues
• Work with PM to plan project effectively, help identify risks and escalate appropriately
• Work with cross functional teams like Engineering, Product Support to ensure customer satisfaction
• Deliver high quality customer facing documentation
• Manage ongoing consulting relationships and drive a positive customer experience
• Contribute to internal knowledge and skill updates
• Mentor other consultants on technical and functional areas and assist in continuous development
• Assist with estimating and responding to RFPs and pre-sales solution building

You've got what it takes if you have…

• Bachelor's degree Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of relevant work experience (i.e. consulting preferably in HCM or ERP)
• Requirement gathering, definition, and documentation experience. Must be consultant first and not a configuration resource 
• Experience with business applications such as Word, Excel and Project, time tracking systems and issue management systems
• Experience in data migration from other systems, including validation, data cleansing and data mapping. Able to consult and provide best practice guidance
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation & organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical ability
• Subject matter expertise in relevant area (such as Learn, Talent, Talent Acquisition, etc)
• Strong skills in estimation and pre-sales
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Open to travel to customer sites in APAC/India as required
• Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
• Consideration for privacy and security obligations

• MBA is a plus
• Previous experience with SumTotal Product and or Cornerstone, SABA etc.
• Experience in pre-sales, estimates and RFP proposals a plus
