Senior IT Manager, SaaS Management

The Senior IT Manager, SaaS Management is part of the IT Enterprise Architecture & Shared Services team that supports IT and business across Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success, Finance, HR, Product and Engineering. The right candidate has empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn to collaborate with IT, Sourcing, FP&A and business stakeholders to identify, document and manage all SaaS applications and subscriptions throughout the organization. 

In this role you will…

• Work with the IT department, the sourcing team, and other business stakeholders (including Product, Engineering, TechOps, InfoSec, Go-to-Market, Finance, HR) to identify any SaaS applications and document this information. 
• Build and manage an ongoing transparent and continuously updated inventory of SaaS instances accessible to department heads and cost center owners.
• Plan documentation around evaluation, integration and governance within IT best practices for application adoption, license provisioning, security, privacy, and user on-boarding and off-boarding.
• Rationalize and organize data within Zylo SaaS Management
• Conduct discovery sessions on app portfolios with each business function. Leverage utilization details to right-size license count prior to upcoming renewals.
• Manage new SW request and renewal process via bi-weekly forum hosted by IT in partnership with procurement and FP&A.
• Streamline the process to enable reduction and eventual elimination of overage charges for consumption-based applications.
• Manage the IT SaaS Management team to review and clean-up users and usage (for consumption-based apps) on a periodic basis (annual/quarterly/monthly).
• Provide IT SaaS Management/Sourcing an application spend forecast.
• Initiate and finalize renewal scope with internal stakeholders (IT SaaS Management/Sourcing).
• Determine KPIs for SaaS application adoption, usage and sentiment, and deliver reporting to stakeholders across the organization.
• Evaluate and monitor SaaS applications inventory across the organization for optimal cost-effectiveness, including the elimination of application or cost-center redundancy.
• Manage SaaS application life cycles by creating a SaaS renewal calendar. Build a documented, collaborative evaluation process and develop action plans for upcoming renewal dates.
• Develop ongoing partnerships with IT, sourcing, vendor management and individual department managers to lead digital transformation and increase organizational ROI, effectiveness and agility.
• Help stakeholders find the most effective tools to increase business effectiveness, including Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and IT.
• Lead teams to independently evaluate their best practices and adopt a value-driven mindset when purchasing new SaaS applications.
• Optimize licensing agreements with a focus towards leveraging enterprise license agreements.

You have what it takes if you have…

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus (a plus).
• 8+ years' experience in Saas Management and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• SaaS subject matter expertise to help users and teams select and use software efficiently.
• Experience in apps rationalization, license optimization, spend controls, spend forecasting and apps portfolio management.
• Experience in proactively managing consumption-based licensing to avoid overage charges.
• Experience in managing SaaS applications widely used in Product, Engineering, TechOps, Cloud Ops, InfoSec and GTM/G&A domains – like Google Cloud, AWS, Oracle Cloud ERP, Salesforce, MicroSoft 365, ServiceNow, Okta, Splunk, Domo, NetApp, VMWare, Cohesity, Workato, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Tableau, NetSuite, Copado, etc.
• Hands-on experience in SaaS Management tools like Zylo, Productiv, Zluri, Vendr, etc.
• Fast Learner, hard worker and committed to a high-quality service.
