    Position summary

    Senior Salesforce Administrator  

     Pune, India   

    This highly critical role is part of the IT GTM (Go-To-Market) Systems team that is responsible for internal applications supported by IT across Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success, and Partner functions.    

    The right candidate has an in-depth understanding of the SFDC platform and applications, including CPQ; can partner with IT Business Analysts, Developers, and operations teams (Field Ops, CS Ops, Deal Desk); is a collaborator who brings a strong customer service focus when supporting our internal customers; has empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn; has a proven track record of driving best practices and processes, with hands-on experience in core administration, configuration, and data management on the Salesforce platform; and a self-starter with the ability to think critically, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment.  

     In this role you will…   

    •  Administer, troubleshoot, and support the Cornerstone Salesforce platform(s) (e.g., Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, Customer Experience Cloud, DocuSign CLM, e-sign) and related 3rd party app integrations (e.g., Outreach, Marketo, Gong, Clari, and many other data enrichment, sales productivity, and enablement tools).  
    • Production Support Incidents: Resolve Salesforce support tickets in a timely manner, set realistic expectations, maintain ticket hygiene, and communicate clearly with peers and internal customers.  
    • Production Support Enhancements: Deliver enhancements and issue resolutions involving core functionalities (Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, CPQ, Approvals, Agreements, etc.).  
    • Proactive Salesforce Administration: Core admin tasks, security and user management, license optimization, process automation, data management, exception monitoring (e.g., trigger execution, runtime, Apex, DML exceptions), and monitoring batch job failures. 
    • Perform root cause analysis of Salesforce issues and triage of those issues to resolution.  
    • Maintain and expand your subject matter expertise by staying current on new Salesforce features and related technologies.  
    •  Create and maintain end-user documentation; maintain and manage Salesforce data quality and integrity; perform as needed and scheduled data updates and uploads using Data Loader; ensure backups of all environments; maintain and improve duplicate and matching rules.  
    •  Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement: identify and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies to help improve operational efficiencies.  
    •  Improve and evolve the Salesforce Lightning Platform, with focus on improving user experience and performance.   

    You have what it takes if you have…    

    • 5-6 Years of Salesforce Admin experience with a BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience. 
    • Deep and broad knowledge of Salesforce products (e.g., Sales Cloud, service Cloud, CPQ).  
    • Advanced Administrator Certification, CPQ Specialist Certification a big plus.  
    • Experience working with large data sets, advanced configurations, exception and environment monitoring.  
    • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, & quote to cash processes in a SaaS / recurring revenue company is a big plus.  
    • Experience in working on sales lifecycle, partner sales lifecycle, migrating workflows and process builder to Flows, CPQ, installing and configuring AppExchange products, maintaining the lightning org, configuring lightning components, lightning page layouts, assignments etc.  
    • Experience in installing and maintaining AppExchange products along with the licensing model information.  
    • High level understanding of Apex and LWC framework.  
    • Understanding of sandbox environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies are a big plus.  
    • Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural, development and testing team, with internal and external resources.
