Position summary
Recovery Management Investment Bank (RM IB) is a team within Credit Suisse responsible for the management of all non-Swiss loans that are classified as stressed or distressed. The objective of RM IB is to improve recovery, minimize legal risks associated with positions that are under its management, and minimize reputational risk to the Firm.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the senior members of RM IB with monitoring of business and financial performance of the portfolio counterparties.
- Negotiating, approving, and carrying out amendments, waivers, consents and any other legal documents pertaining to the asset under management (both in bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring scenarios)
- Structuring, negotiating, and implementing DIP facilities for impaired counterparties
- Analyzing, proposing, negotiating, and implementing the sale of impaired assets
- Analyzing and proposing provisions and charge-offs for accrual-based assets and valuations for fair value-based assets under the management of RM IB
- Negotiating settlement of litigations involving impaired assets
- Working with other Credit Risk Management departments to evaluate refinancing opportunities
- Collaborating with internal & external clients and outside counsel/advisors daily.
