The ideal candidate will have worked as a Staff Accountant, or Financial Analyst in a manufacturing environment and is looking to take the next step in their career. The role reports to the Controller along with oversight from the VP of Finance.
Job Location
This is an onsite role in Lakeland, FL.
Job Responsibilities
Assists in month end close, related journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure processes are meeting internal controls to safeguard and mitigate risk to company assets
Help ensure the integrity of data required by regional, corporate, and regulatory agencies
Participate in fixed asset audits at the operating sites, and help prepare the monthly reconciliations and capital expenditure reporting
Monthly inventory postings and participation in periodic inventory observations/audits
Item and bill of material management
Analysis on bill of materials and overall standard costs to gauge accuracy and efficiency
Prepare reports to forecast business activity and financial position
Prepare and maintains documentation related to budgets and other related financial activity
Develop tools and reports that help analyze spending trends across our operating sites
Assist the Controller and VP of Finance with ways to improve processes and standard procedures
Job Requirements
Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience
Experience with forecasting and financial statement analysis
Familiarity with Standard Cost Accounting, ERP interface, and General Ledger structure
A willingness to travel 10-15% of the time
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
Excel Proficiency (preferred)
Financial Statement Literacy (preferred)
