Hydro International Data, Insight & Analysis Ltd, part of Hydro International, a CRH Company, is the leading independent Hydrometric Consultant in the UK. We provide water monitoring systems to local authorities, water companies and the Environment Agency.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Theale
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects, including winning work, client meetings, report writing, and quality assurance of hydrometric data before issuing to clients.
Contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of Hydro International Data, Insight & Analysis Ltd.

Required skills and experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Positive attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in managing projects and preparing proposals/bids (Advantageous)
Degree in relevant subject (e.g., Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering (Advantageous)
Experience in field measurements and hydrometric data processing (Advantageous)

Advantageous Skills:
Familiarity with the companies Time-Series database (Advantageous)
Key Duties:
Managing projects, ensuring efficient delivery safely and to time, budget and quality.
Completing management tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Management tasks include: WIP, stock, cost provision, invoicing, project review reports and updating PT2 and CRM among others.
Regular liaison with the data and field teams to ensure that data and projects are delivered in line with current priorities, including providing projections of future resource requirements.
To write fee proposals, tenders and reports to company standard.
To generate new business in accordance with annual targets set.
Regular contact with clients to update them on their projects.
To manage a portion of the company project portfolio in accordance with annual targets set, including a target for the proportion of overall project revenue and number of projects to deliver budget margin.
To ensure that the company CRM is kept up to date, at all times.
Develop and maintain existing, and new, client relationships.
Ensuring the project deliverables meet with the Client specification as defined in the Hydro proposal and Clients' works instruction.
To perform duties in accordance with all relevant legislation, in particular the Health and Safety at Work Act and apply the requirements of ISO45001. To apply requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 and 14001 as appropriate within the areas of responsibility.
Other duties which the company may reasonably require the individual to undertake.
