Dispatch Customer Service Rep. (Asphalt & Aggregate)

al service. This position pays $27 per hour.

The essential functions of the role include:  

-   Take and Process Customer Orders for aggregates and asphalt

-   Ensure orders are entered accurately in the system
-   Ensure the product that the customer is ordering is correct for that job or project
-   Schedule deliveries and dispatch trucks
-   Effectively communicate with internal and external customers and other stakeholders

-   Organize and send requested reports and/or order information to customers
-   Other duties as assigned

  
**Requirements**  

-   Candidate must be energetic and customer friendly with the ability to work in a fast paced team atmosphere that focuses around the customer in the aggregates, asphalt & construction industry.
-   Strong computer skills
-   Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision
-   Demonstrate a willingness to work overtime
-   Demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills
-   Demonstrate the ability to conform to and maintain MSHA, OSHA, DOT and all other company or governmental state rules and regulations.
-   Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
-   Drug screen and background check required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.

  
  
**Education/Experience**  

-   Dispatch or industry experience preferred
-   High school graduate or equivalent

-   Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred
