rm job outside of the shop at job sites or in quarries as necessary
Repair and maintain all equipment.
Monitor fleet for PMs (service, dot inspections)
Operate and maintain service truck.
Communicate with department managers and equipment managers for availability of units needing repairs.
Communicate with vendors for repairs or trouble shooting.
Assist with parts research and ordering as required.
Responsible for evaluating work request write ups on equipment for compliance of safety criteria and placing equipment out of service.
Report unusual repairs that require OEM service to supervisor.
Supply and maintain own tools required to perform job.
Requirements
Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
Must have certifications in air brakes, welding, computers, hydraulics, electrical work, air conditioning.
Must have DOT brake inspector certification.
PA State Inspection License preferred, but not necessary.
Must supply own tools.
Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be a motivated, self-starter.
Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have 2-5 years of experience with diesel trucks and various heavy equipment.
