    Position summary

    complex problems on plastic injection and blow molding machines, as well as related equipment such as grinders, compressors, chillers, etc.

    • Perform all electrical repairs on molding machines by use of electrical schematics

    • Use welders, blow torches, drills, saws, and other tools to manufacture tools or parts used in the repair and maintenance of machines and equipment

    • Operate the controls of the machines in order to determine problems and test solutions

    • Read hydraulic drawings and make repairs as needed

    • Work with 480V 3-phase

    • Perform other related duties and assignments as required

    • Hydraulic/pneumatic experience desired

    Job Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Trade school degree or equivalent experience in maintenance field preferred

    • At least 3 years of experience with the operation and/or repair of plastic injection molding and blow molding machines

    • At least 3 years of experience working with electrical components

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Operate hand and power tools, tow motor, high lift, saws, welders, and grinder

    • Work is performed in an industrial production setting
