Position Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the Joints & Seals business for IPE. In this role you will have full business leadership and accountability on the P&L which also includes responsibility for all Safety, Legal, and Compliance of the business area.
Focus will be on ensuring budget delivery on budget, and ensuring future growth to support the long term strategy for the business.

The Managing Director Joints & Seals, is a key member of the IPE leadership team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead the Joints and Seals business
HSE
Lead HSE for the division: Accountability for the Safety Performance and Improvement of all sites
Develop a Positive Safety Culture in the business
Adherence to all legal and corporate requirements relating to HSE
Responsibility for delivery of H&S improvement initiatives: Strategy, Structure and Results
Deliver HSE Metrics as determined in Annual review/budget process
Governance and Controls responsibility
Full Legal and CRH/IPE Policy adherence of sites
Adherence to Financial standards, Policies and SODA
Adherence to ISO/ other management compliance requirements as determined
Periodic Management reporting
Adherence to full Supply chain legal obligations
Institute robust business management processes and accountabilities
Deliver Periodic Business reporting as required by IPE
HR responsibility
Talent Management
Succession planning
Appraisal processes
Employee training and development
Manage pay costs and headcount according to the budget
Delivery of Budget
Delivery of all target metrics and financials as determined by the Budget process
Sales
Cost control
Design and Delivery of subsequent Budget: Partnership approach with IPE
Strategy
Strategic Sales Growth: Ensure plan and resource to organically grow the business in adjacent markets (Geographic and Product)
Innovation
Capex
Design and Delivery of Strategic plan
Supported by central IPE teams- requires close liaison with IPE functional team
Support to M&A delivery
Support Divestment processes as required
