imary responsibility is account management, providing exceptional service, identifying opportunities within current accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction, while supporting our inbound material strategy in collaboration with aggregates, logistics, and sales teams. The position requires regular travel to the Parsippany, NJ office and monthly visits to tri-state operations, with vehicle reimbursement provided.
Roles and Responsibilities
(Essential Duties and Functions)
Provides total account management, assisting existing customers through sales process from quote to delivery.
Coordinates and supports all actions between customers and operations.
Develops strong, practical knowledge of products and people on Tilcon sites.
Collaborates with all Tilcon lines of business to ensure customer satisfaction and business accountability.
Ensures accurate invoicing and customer stays within credit terms, supporting the collections process.
Builds and maintains long term relationships with customer base.
Demonstrates leadership in supporting our core values: People, Character, Performance and Innovation.
Participates fully in product training sessions, meetings, skills training and professional development classes.
Active participation in various trade associations and community involvement.
Provides timely preparation of paperwork, reports, and sales quotes.
CRM (Salesforce.com) updating with daily sales calls to log all customer interactions and market intel.
Quoting of customers with the assistance of Inside Sales when needed.
Monitors and informs management on market by gathering current marketplace data on pricing, products, delivery modes, and geography.
Displays professional demeanor both on the phone and in person.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in company policies.
Regular and timely attendance is required.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
Required
BS degree in Marketing or other business related discipline OR 5 years of sales or other relevant experience
General accounting knowledge required
Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), and Outlook.
Work Requirements
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends,and at times holidays
Work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors/managers with other duties as required.

Compensation & Company Benefits:
Competitive Base Salary is 75,000 to $80,000
