This is an onsite role based in Galloway, NJ
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert in processing, establishing standards and procedures for continuous improvement
Provide training and mentorship to colleagues on engineering processing techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve corporate goals and operational excellence
Support new product development, including color and strength qualifications
Evaluate, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes and operating systems
Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation and process guidelines
Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety through data analysis and observations
Collect and interpret data from technical and operating personnel to identify improvement opportunities
Work closely with quality, engineering, inventory, and production teams to streamline processes and enhance quality control
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; Engineering discipline preferred
Strong knowledge of engineering technology and processing
Familiarity with ASTM testing standards preferred
Experience in quality and manufacturing environments
Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills; willing to support all shifts
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to take initiative
Proven ability to lead teams in reducing inefficiencies such as scrap reduction/elimination
Compensation
Base salary is $75,000 - $85,000
