lity Control Supervisor is responsible for understanding and training production on the quality guidelines set by the company. They also monitor the quality equipment and assure that the equipment is up to date on certifications and calibrations. This position oversees the rework process. Through the supervision of rework technicians, they inspect any product returns to determine the problem. The Quality Supervisor manages customer complaints and coordinates with production and sales to satisfy the customer's needs. They assist with, training, various compliance matters, discipline, employee engagement and retention efforts.
Job Responsibilities
Ensures all safety guidelines are followed
Ensures that the Quality manual is up to date with all quality guidelines
Responsible for quality equipment and ensuring that calibrations and certification get done
Communicates with sales and production on any customer complaints
Supervises the rework teams on inspection of product returns or product of questionable quality
Manages inventory transactions of quarantined product
Performs any disciplinary/coaching items
Ability to manage PTO requests
Completes and processes time-off requests and timesheets for payroll timely
Lead customer visits and Audits
Evaluate and improve current quality processes utilizing technology
Job Requirements
3+ years' experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment in a supervisory role
4 year degree in quality management or a related field
On-Site QA certification
Proficiency in basic business (Microsoft Office) software
Experience in 6 Sigma, LEAN, 5S, or CI preferred
Compensation
Base salary $81,000 - $106,000 plus bonus
