Summary:
The Reg Procurement Director drives the execution of the defined category strategies on a local level. This position manages the Operational Procurement Team. Identify and enable opportunities for cost reductions, cost avoidance and service improvements. Provides guidelines and direction to the local team to execute procurement tactics to achieve these benefits. Build strong and effective relationships both with internal customers, the local/regional category team and external suppliers to create the framework for the implementation of procurement initiatives and processes. This is a remote position, but candidates need to reside in Utah state.
What you'll be contributing:
Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Drives the execution of the defined category strategy on a local/regional level. Work closely with the Local Category Manager and Divisional Procurement team
Manages the Operational Procurement team.
Identifies and enables opportunities for cost reductions, cost avoidance and service improvements.
Provides guidelines and directions to the local team to execute procurement tactics to achieve these benefits.
Drives annual budgeted cost savings, margin improvements, and other procurement benefits, using best-in-class procurement techniques
Provides monthly reporting on savings, benefits, key initiatives and projects through the development of an effective Procurement Management dashboard (KPIs)
Connects procurement and portfolio strategies to the business strategy
Delivers the procurement category strategy and plans across all channels supported by sourcing strategy, supplier negotiation, selection and evaluation
Owns the supplier relationships and take actions to deliver value through growth
Identifies and interprets results, trends, business and market environment and drive procurement performance.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Minimum 4 Year/ Bachelor's Degree in engineering, purchasing, business or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement experience. Experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, Cost analysis and management, Financial and business understanding, Negotiation skills, Networking skills
Minimum 5 years in people management experience
Willing to cooperate in international projects
Up to 50% domestic travel.
Compensation:
Salary ranges from $147,500 - $180,200
Eligible for yearly bonus
