Summary:
The Reliability Manager functions as a safety leader by demonstrating a personal commitment to working safely and ensuring that the plant continues to eliminate work-related risks by increased use of hazard recognition techniques; functions as a strong advocate and leader in promoting a safe working environment for all employees at the plant. This position conducts effective monthly safety meetings.
What you'll be contributing:
Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines
Understands and operates by company programs, policies, and legislative requirements to meet environmental and quality standards and performance objective targets.
Advises Plant Manager/Maintenance Manager in all plant equipment reliability and function aspects.
Provides budget input to the Maintenance Manager.
Assists in the development and documentation of the CAPEX plan.
Develops and monitors the annual equipment shutdown plan, reliability objectives, and targets.
Provides oversight to the CbM program
Leads the activities of the Reliability team FMEAs, Project meetings, etc.
Oversees all aspects of maintenance planning and scheduling.
Directs the Maintenance Planner to ensure that the workflow is managed and controlled.
Reviews and provides feedback on the status of maintenance plans (daily, weekly, master.)
Reviews the PM program and ensure proper compliance.
Monitors and oversees the optimization of the spare parts inventory.
Develops a strong working relationship with the production team to ensure cooperation and harmony.
Mentors and coaches staff to support their personal development.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
To succeed in this position, you will need:
4 year/bachelors degree in engineering is required
Professional Engineering (P. Eng) designation is preferred
Minimum 7 years of experience with plant reliability programs
Prior experience in Maintenance is preferred
SAP and MS Project experience is preferred
Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Proficient in effective written English, verbal communication, and listening skills
Ability to be focused on achieving results
Knowledge of industrial processes
High level of technical skills
Self-starter; strong planning and organizational skills
Demonstrate and foster a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to achieving goals
Ability to make decisions and solve problems with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to organize and write effective technical reports and communicate effectively
Ability to build a team, lead a team, and work with groups or contractors
Ability to effectively coach and deliver constructive feedback
Ability to analyze facts and to exercise sound judgment in arriving at a conclusion
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and monitor costs in parallel to the conclusion
Ability to establish a position as a positive role model and effectively utilize resources
Ability to build strong organizational and customer relationships
