Job Summary
The Senior Director of Commercial Performance role will develop commercial strategy and launch a commercial transformation across the entire portfolio of APG companies. The role will lead several departments that build upon APG’s competitive advantage with commercial capabilities to include strategic pricing, sales operations, sales analytics, and sales training.
APG has well-established and effective processes related to strategic pricing and commercial best practices. As the business scales, the Commercial Performance function will ensure there are thoughtful commercial strategies within the operating companies that win locally, leverage APG’s scale, and reflect the Group’s strategic direction. In addition, the Sr Director will ensure that APG’s sales teams are supported by effective analytics and world-class training and coaching processes. This will require the Senior Director to build a sales training function and expand the scope and capability of our pricing, commercial analysis, and sales operations teams. The Senior Director of Commercial Performance will oversee a commercial transformation to embed the processes and capabilities in the operating companies and to effectively connect the central team to the frontline.
