    Position summary

    Teams** : Working with different teams will foster a cohesive approach to executing marketing campaigns and tactics.

    • Adhere to Brand Standards : By learning and following Cummins' brand guidelines, you'll maintain brand integrity and consistency in all marketing materials.

    • Support Trade Shows and Virtual Events : Your role in planning and executing events will create memorable experiences and strengthen connections to the Cummins brand.

    • Optimize Marketing Efforts : Applying your knowledge of digital marketing tools and trends will help optimize campaigns and improve their effectiveness.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Be Digital Media Savvy : Utilize current and emerging digital media strategies, such as email automation, social media, and content management systems, to effectively influence buyer behavior and drive desired actions from your target audience.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

    Has some understanding of digital marketing tools.

    Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

    Strong copywriting/writing skills highly preferred.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Demonstrates eagerness to learn and grow.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Additional Information:

    Core responsibilities

    • Research, ideate, pitch, write and package stories that bring our people, plants and products to life and advance our Destination Zero strategy, including blog posts, videos, photo spreads, listicles, infographics, case studies and long-form articles.

    • Help coordinate and execute communications plans and strategies to further the Engine Business' goals, including high visibility in-person and virtual events and webinars, campaigns, product launches and engagement activities.

    • Provide project management support and coordination, communicating plans, deadlines, and achievements to project team members and stakeholders.

    • Collect and present story, campaign and event data for packaging, discussion and interpretation

    Skills

    • Strong writing skills

    • Ability to translate complex topics and jargon into approachable concepts.

    • Strong knowledge of and familiarity with communications applications and tools, including MS Office

    • Strong sense for branding and graphic design (preferred but not required)

    • Curiosity, persistence, and interest in/ability to navigate a complex business and highly matrixed organization.
