We are looking for a talented Controller & Global FP&A Director.

Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies is a joint venture between Eaton and Cummins, Inc. producing industry-leading medium- and heavy-duty automated transmission products to OEM customers around the globe. Revenue is expected to be around $700M this year and grow fast with new product introduction and new market territories.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • This position will be the most senior finance role of the organization reporting to the CFO and overseeing the full P&L and balance sheet of the business.
  • Responsible for all accounting practices and financial controls of the North America operations, which is the largest share of the global business.
  • Ensuring a strong control environment across the key business cycles and directing the implementation of recommended changes to accounting practices.
  • Leading the global consolidation of financials and all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including variance explanations to parents and Board of Directors, monthly forecasting process, annual operating plan and long-term simulation.
  • Analyzing business results, determining root causes and preparing recommendations and alternatives for review by management, along with driving business decisions.
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring an organization of managers and analysts, including direct, indirect, and dotted line reporting relationships.
  • Supporting the CFO with presentations to management, Board of Directors and parent companies and often represent the CFO in meetings as needed.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience required in accounting (US GAP) and financial planning and analysis in manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Experience in leading people and talent development to enable employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Business partnering and results oriented, with both strategic acumen and detail orientation.
  • Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment and conflicting priorities.
  • High level of integrity is a must.

Location

  • Preference is to be located in Galesburg, MI, however remote work may be considered.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary rate commensurate with experience and large organizations.
